CRITICAL HEAL:
A 25-HOUR GAMING MARATHON FOR SICKKIDS

As President of the Toronto Extra Life Guild, I spearheaded Critical Heal—a 25-hour charity gaming event supporting SickKids Hospital. I pitched the idea directly to the Children’s Miracle Network, leading to a powerful partnership with Xbox Canada, Microsoft, and SickKids Foundation. With over $60K in equipment loaned and $25K+ in prizing donated by Xbox, plus support from Cadillac Fairview, Coca-Cola, Duracell and more, we transformed Toronto Eaton Centre into a round-the-clock gaming arena—the first time it had ever remained open overnight.

I led all aspects of the event for three years: creative direction, sponsor pitching, logistics, marketing, signage, guest outreach, and PR. Our launch year drew over 1,500 attendees, national media coverage, and helped raise over $100K for SickKids. From entrance arches to event programs, celebrity guests to social campaigns—I made it happen.
